CDP & C40 Cities

ND-GAIN utilized CDP/C40 data to test the methodology developed in the Urban Adaptation Assessment pilot project. In addition, we are collaborating with CDP and C40 to leverage their city data for the future international scale out of the Urban Adaptation Assessment. 

 

Urban Resilience to Extreme Weather-Related Events Sustainability Research Network (UREx SRN)

ND-GAIN has joined a team of 50 researchers, led by Arizona State University, to find innovative ways of making urban infrastructure more resilient and equitable. Project funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

 

School of Public Policy, University of Maryland

Students in the School of Public Policy at University of Maryland built upon the Urban Adaptation Assessment’s pilot project to identify how climate change vulnerabilities can be addressed through integrating adaptation activities into existing city priorities and actions.

 

La Follette School of Public Affairs, UW-Madison

Students pursuing their Master of International Public Affairs degree at University of Wisconsin-Madison teamed up with ND-GAIN to research India and China’s climate-induced migration and its possible effect on urban adaptation.
